The Boys & Girls Clubs of Gloucester County's Glassboro Unit has received a $10,000 award generously funded by Walmart Foundation to launch a new reading initiative that promotes both educational and leisure reading for adolescents. The Walmart Foundation's Bright Spot for Reading initiative for adolescent readers will help create a reading center, provide training for staff and encourage relationships to ensure the success of young members.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Gloucester County is proud to be the recipient of a check in the amount of $40,000 from the Valero Paulsboro Refinery. This money was received from the Valero Benefit For Children Golf Classic that takes place each year in Houston Texas.
